I would have 3-4 people (2 lifting up, 1-2 people in the attic) helping lift and set the ladder in the ceiling hole rather than 2 like the directions say. The trickiest part was roughing in the hole (I had to cut through 3 total roof joists to accomodate), most ladder installs would run parrallel with the joists (cutting through one joist), but my situation was a little different.
