The 24' telescoping wand for a pressure washer worked fine except for the spray nossel not always locking into place (even with a concerted effort), and I was not able to retract the telescoping end piece.
This item did what it was designed to do; effectively reach. It's construction is reasonably stout and the weight to length ratio is acceptable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well to do 2nd story of a house, October 14, 2008

I purchased this in lieu of buying a 3500psi washer (I have a 2400psi washer), so I could reach my second story dormers and siding. Works great, but if you extend it to the full length, hang on and make sure you are leaning into it! At the full extended length it is hard to handle (especially with a turbo nozzle on it), and I have a lot of upper body strength and the mass to go with it. However, if you lean it in towards the wall and then let the pressure hold it back from the wall for you, it isn't too bad. I bought the silly harness thing to help hold it, but it is pretty worthless, and makes it really hard to adjust the height or change a nozzle, because you have to unhook from it.

The only functional problem I had was the lock clamps seem to really tighten up in use, and i had to use a pipe wrench twice to loosen them so i could change the extension height. It seems to help if you don't tighten them very tight in the first place, as it seems to hold with very little... Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money, April 30, 2010

I have purchased 2 of these poles in the past six months. The first one, I thought I damaged myself by not being really careful with it. The pole would close on itself when fully extended making it impossible to open again. The hand tightner would not hold the pole open, had to use duct tape. Bought another pole figuring I would be extra cautious with it and to ensure I did everything correct. I had the same issue within 2 weeks. The pole slid back on itself when fully extended causing the pole not to extend properly also the hand tightining lock does not function well at all. This is the second and last pole I buy. The only reason it got 2 stars, was when it did work correctly, it was a lifesaver for cleaning the second story. I pressure wash homes and need a commericial grade pole vice a once and done pole.
