Includes Classic Model 22 19-ft All-in-One Ladder - 10103LGW, Work Platform
Amazon.com Review
Look high and low, but you're not going to find a better ladder than this one. Not only is it incredibly stable when extended, it takes the place of seven ladders and two trestles, and you won't even break a sweat converting it. Two outer ladders telescope over the inner unit, and a locking center hinge on the inner ladder makes the A-frame possible without spreader bars or braces. The locking assembly was smooth and positive in our trials; the inner ladder slid freely and easily. Transforming the ladder from one configuration to another was no struggle at all. The inner and outer side rails are made of aircraft-grade aluminum; slip-resistant rungs and feet made us feel like we hadn't left the ground. Yes, it costs a bit more than other ladders, but you get what you pay for. This ladder will last a lifetime, and it's the only one you'll ever need. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste
22-foot ladder system with work platform; 300-pound workload capacity
This review is from: Little Giant 10103LGW 300-Pound Duty Rating Ladder System with Work Platform, 22-Foot (Tools & Home Improvement)
I've had my Little Giant for four years. It is always the first ladder I go for because it can do almost anything. I've used it for trimming and picking fruit trees, working on a wall above a roof, general construction, painting and handywork. It has even had a 450+ lb. guy on it without creaking!
The ladder is much more stable than a conventional step ladder, due to its splayed lower legs. It is also more stable against a wall in the extention mode for the same reason. Each side is independently extendable so it is great on sloping surfaces. It can be climbed from either side in the step ladder mode.
The best thing about it is that when it is fully collapsed, it stores in about the same space as a five foot step ladder. It will also stand by itself, so you don't need to lean it or hang it on a hook. It easily lays in a pickup bed or accross the back seat of a full size car.
Wing also makes a "work platform" for this ladder that adds to its... Read more

I've never used any of my other ladders (other than my 2' one) since getting this one. Sure, it's flexible for uneven heights (across sunken living room, stairs, uneven ground outside, etc.), but what I like most is that it is rock solid!!! The additional "work platform" is very nice to stand on for long periods of time or to set tools on (i.e., consider two if you're on your ladder much). When not fully extended, the overlapping steps create a broad step under foot. It is only a little bit more expensive than a ladder with an equivalent rating (250 lb, versus 150 for many ladders), and only a little heavier. Folded, however, it is easy to carry vertically simply by sticking your shoulder between two rungs and grabbing the second rung below with your hand.

We first saw this ladder at a home show demonstration and thought it was awesome. [...]The ladder system is intuitive to use right of the box. Its aluminum channel construction is a bit heavier than cheap ladders in the usual home stores,,, but it is very stable; the spread legs make it quite resistent to sliding over; and it flexes very little even when fully extended. As an A-frame it is rock solid and does not shake at all. The ladder comes with a metal anti-slip platform that can be positioned on any step and used as a large ledge for prolong standing or to hold tools. The ladder latches and joints are steel parts and very solidly lock in. I like everything about this ladder! To the best of my knowledge there is no comparable ladder generally available.

I was hoping the ladder would get me high enough, and I typically don't buy things without knowing enough information (how difficult is it for a company to list the "top step height" or "base width when open"?). But, hopefully some people can benefit from my mistake.
The top step is 2'9" high.
The base width when open is 3'3" from front legs to back.
The ladder works given those stats though. I'll just need to find another that has a narrow base when open and is tall enough for some of my immediate needs.

I bought this ladder like 3 months ago. I am a sub contractor and i am in and out of alot of houses. I was looking for a light ladder with versatility. I am a large framed guy if you will so i needed something to support me as well. I must tell you am more then pleased with the outcome. It is so light that all my customers always ask were i got it. That is why i am writing the review. It has a nice deep tray on top and plenty of holes for screwdrivers and such. THe hammer hole is wide so you can fit bigger handled hammers in. My older werner ladder you can't. It doesn't matter i havent taken that ladder off the truck since i bought this Hailo ladder. I highly recommend this ladder. I actually just purchased the 2 step step stool K-30 for my wife. I will leave comments after we test this one as well. Highly recommended and God Bless.

I bought the Hailo L60 five step ladder a couple of months ago and have been really satisfied. The 225 pound capacity seems fine even when stepping on the top platform. I find the ladder to be quite stable and the long neck with the tray provides additional stability. We have ten foot ceilings and this is perfect for that type of reach. This item is amazingly light as well. It is pretty tall so from a storage standpoint, it won't fit easily in a pantry like a smaller step ladder can. It's taller than most first shelves in a closet and does not fit under a coat rack bar. Store in the garage and you'll be very happy.

We use this extension pole to clean the snow from our satellite dish that is mounted on a tower in order to receive a signal. The end accepts different types of attachments, which makes it easy to find the right one for our needs. Extended fully, it is still stable enough to brush off snow. We also attach a light bulb changer when we need to replace bulbs in the ceiling fans in the great room. It works well for this also.

This item works well. Your arms may get a bit tired, but it will allow you to clean spots two stories off the ground without climbing a ladder.
I will buy other sizes of this pole also to use when I don't need thirty feet of reach. Although it stores in itself, it is too heavy for me to use when I only need twelve foot of pole.
But for thirty feet, it is the best.

This review is from: UNGTF900 - Tele-Plus Pole (Office Product)
I bought this item to avoid having to position and climb a 30 foot ladder to string Xmas lights on my dad's house. He has a two-story contemporary style house with an 8-12 pitch roof - an obstacle treacherous enough to scare off a locally-respected roofing contractor a few years ago. I didn't order it in time to avoid having to put up the lights the old-fashioned way, but I was able to take them down fairly easily with the Unger TF900.
And it's not cheap, certainly, but neither is surgery, rehab, or a wheelchair, all of which my dad has undergone in the past thanks to the aforementioned roof.
