Everything About Ladders
A ladder consist a set of steps or rungs vertical or inclined. The ladders are of two types. rigid ladders which can be leaned on a vertical surface and rope ladders which are attached to the top. Some types of rigid ladders are fixed to the buildings and some are portable. From wood how they were made, now the rigid ladders are made from aluminum or fiberglass because they are lighter and does not lead electricity (when working with electrical wires). This are the portable ladders type..Type I. on industrial uses (max load - 250 pounds and for heavy-duty jobs).Type II. on commercial uses (max load - 225 pounds and for medium-duty jobs).Type III. household (light-duty with max load of 200 pounds). How to use a ladder..The ladder is suited for the job you want to make? verify the ladder before you use it to see if it have broken joins or any cracks .For each 4 feet of height where is your top contact you must have a distance of 1 foot away from the wall. This is the ration (1.4) you must use to ensure a stable position. The correct descend or ascend is with face to the ladder.Keep the both feet of the ladder on stable ground. The max rung you must climb on stepladders is the second rung, and for extension or straight ladders is the third rung.Don't use an aluminum ladder when you work with electricity (use a leader made from fiberglass or wood). If you have finished your job put the ladder to his place don't leave it unattended, accidents can happen.
