| 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful  Out with the old bulky, heavy ironing board!, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Hafele Built-In Flip & Tip 37 3/8" x 20 1/4" Ironing Board White (Kitchen) The wife wanted to get rid of the old ironing board that was taking up a lot of space in the closet and she did not want to have to wrestle with the weight and space it needed every time she set it up to iron clothes. To install this device, I had to first remove the existing drawer and rails and save the drawer face for the new installation. In our case I had to install two 1 1/8" thick runner boards inside the drawer space to provide a place to attach the ironing board's rails to. After that, the installation was straight forward. You want to be very careful about positioning the rails in the drawer cabinet and pre-drill the holes for the screws so that the rails install exactly where they are supposed to go. The last step is to attach the drawer face to the mechanism and make the final adjustments. When you open the drawer, the mechanism slides out, pops up to counter top height, and an arm extends to support the ironing board tougue. To close just flip the tongue back and as you...
