The ladder came well packed and in a speedy manner (thank you Amazon). Unpackaging was very easy. The quality of the parts are evident. Assembly is straightforward and all you need is a philips head screwdriver and perhaps a rubber mallot.Assembly is required of course. I recommend you read the short parts/assembly guide and seperate the parts first. Pay attention to the six larger bolts and two smaller ones. They are not interchangeable. I also recommend a rubber mallot in addition to the required philips screwdriver. I had to use the mallot to gently bang the steps into place and line the bolt holes up. When you place the steps on the tubes for assembly, make sure they are facing the proper way (thinner side out).
