This is a great temporary mounting system. Now I can park where I want and not worry about getting a signal. Mount is built very well, has what looks to be a very durable finish and attaches to the ladder easily. Even though the mount is very secure I am going to add a brace across the ladder rungs close to the mount to help stregthen the area since it does hang off to one side. I would also like to have seen additional "locking bolt" holes so I could position the Carryout cables to better attach to the ladder with velcro. Maybe it was just the location that I was at, but that experience has shaken my confidence in the Product in the northern regions. It finds the satellites fast but if yOu have a rear BR in your RV and you mount this thing On your ladder with the optional mount, you will hear it doing some adjusting every morning. I would recommend just getting a manual antennae since I've learned that it really doesn't take that long to set up and find th proper feed manually. If you're uber lazy or have disabilities preventing the possibility of going manual, I can happily recommend this product. If these cases do not apply, save your hard earned money and go manual. |
